Perhaps this is a placebo effect, but OTOH I never expect much from supplements (or drugs, for that matter), and I had not heard before that Mg potentiates benzos.I have been trying to find a more contemporaneous reference (and written in good English), but Russian work from the late 70's/early 80's shows that niacinamide is not only an endogenous ligand of the "benzodiazepine" receptor, but it also potentiates the anxiolytic effects of e.g. diazepam.
