At first things seemed remarkably quaint, visual shimmering etc. Now the fronts of cars look like faces, and railroad ding-dongs look like knights with swords. I have never been so calm in my life. I feel like I am closer to God. But, at the same time disconected from people. It seems like objects are just as human as humans are. Distance disturbances like trees growing as I watch them.

>Actually, there have been reports of 5-HT2a/5-HT2c antagonists causing visual hallucinations like you describe, just the way a 5-HT2a/5-HT2c agonist would. This may be what's happening. I doubt the extra synaptic serotonin from Celexa would be able to cause enough activity at 5-HT2 to induce these symptoms.
I've been trying to find the article I read on it a while back (in which Risperdal caused visual hallucinations in a patient), but I haven't found it yet. I'll post it if I do.
