No body ever took any fluid sample from me and then came back and said, "here, see, you have a chemical imbalance." My doctor never even used the words, "chemical imbalance" He just said, "take this drug."
Well, he probablly did not say this because depression & mental illness is not caused by a
chemical imbalance; we disproved this model for
mental illness some time ago, 10-20 years ago
this was the theory, long disproven.Seem to me you are seeing a general doc, as pdocs
are not usually the ones to give physicals. If you want proper treatment see a specialist, a pdoc.It is your choice to suffer, to settle for half good, not so bad, ect, or not.
