> My instinct (and first-hand experience!)is telling me that the reason that you may be feeling depressed right now, after just starting the Anafranil, is this --- the Nardil is washed OUT of your system, leaving NO more Nardil to help you....AND the Anafranil is just beginning to enter your system but NOT YET enough to help you......that's the tough part about the MAOI wash-out period --- there is the time period where you can only wait for the Anafranil to begin helping you.....the good news is that every passing day brings you closer to the day when enough Anafranil is in your system to begin providing benefit....4 days is still quite early....my very best wishes to you Ace!Thanks so much man,
At the moment I'm feeling really down...but I'm not going to give up. Tonight I'll take 50mg and then tommorow up it to 75mg. Within 2 weeks I would like to get up to 150mg. Really, the sedation hasn't been too bad at all. In fact, apart from the second day on 25mg, where I took 3 benzos in the day, I havent really felt any.
But I do feel in a 'fog', sort of drugged out. And of course the depression. I have to be patient.
Oh, that sleep thing!...I experienced it ONLY 1 night - and all the stress I wasted before on worrying about it!!!
Thanks again dude.
Andrew.
BTW, how long before did it take to kick in for you?
