Hey there!
I have been treated for severe depression.
I have taken Olanzapine and am no way psychotic!
I didn't find it helpful to lift my depression, but it does have anxiolytic (anti-anxiety) properties.
Has your husband tried a combination of SSRI added with Lithium augmentation? That has been successful for me.
