NO. Depression is very different from schizophrenia.

Schizophrenia almost always shows up by a person's mid-20's and I have never heard of a doctor misdiagnosing schizophrenia as depression (though it is not beyond the scope of possibilities) and moreover keeping up a misdiagnosis for FOUR years.

There are plenty of people on this board taking olanzapine for depression.
