Thought I'd chip in here;just my personal take, but I didn't find Neurontin particularly effective in controlling those runaway temper spells we both endure. It proved to be just another 'fade out' med for me, and may even have made things worse after a few months. It's not in the same league as valproate, that's for certain. One advantage though, is that you can pretty much take it or leave it at will.
My psych. was adamant that my supressed, ruminating,or spontaneous anger would be greatly helped with an AD.
I was dead against the idea as you know(too destabilizing) but it seems he was right-at least so far!!What a quandry,eh?? We've been here before. Antidepressants. Can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em.
Still,I hope your NADH trial proves positive. All the best,
Col.
