If you feel yourself slipping, it's time to see your psychiatrist immediately. There are just so many possible treatments, one or more of which will stop and reverse the decline. And, not all treatments take a long time to work. You're already taking an AD so an augmentation strategy might be the right thing to try. Whatever the case, see your psychiatrist.
Now as to getting through the bad times the thing that's helped me is recognizing (at least intellectually) that the bad times won't last forever. Somewhat cold comfort, but true nevertheless.
