I've recently been slowly coming off of Zoloft and I've had TERRIBLE neck and shoulder tenseness. Years ago, I had the same thing, which is what sent me to the therapist for some help with stress management techniques. That's when I was originally diagnosed as having long-term low-level depression. I was put on Zoloft in increasing doses over the next few years (eventually adding in Wellbutrin). But recently my husband and I divorced and I discovered that the cause of my depression all those years was my bad marriage, so I've been coming off the meds now and took my last dose, actually, just today. But I've noticed that the last week or so, my shoulders and neck are KILLING me! Just like they did years ago! But I don't have the other symptoms of depression any longer. Does anyone know if Zoloft helps with muscle tenseness? Perhaps I need to stay on it primarily for THAT purpose?! Any advice is appreciated!!
