Even without any symptoms, you need to seek immediate attention by contacting Poison Control, calling 911, or going to a hospital. Many individuals have few symptoms early on. Consequently, by the time symptoms develop, severe liver damage may occur, and even death.

I agree with you about suicide. Some people say that you can't stop people that are determined to do it but of course you can. Maybe not forever and maybe not by yourself but people rarely stay suicidal 24 hours a day forever.
I wasn't sure what you meant by the bottle of Tylenol remark but it is such an ugly way to die and it takes a long time. I thought I would put up the reference. I think there should be a warning printed on that stuff for people who only want to cry for help. I found a book on amazon about ways to commit suicide which included a section for people who only want to cry for help on how to make an impressive attempt without seriously damaging yourself! I found that terribly amusing yet practical at the time but no I'm not posting a link. Tylenol is not one of those ways. It can destroy a kid's liver if you don't get treatment early enough.

I hope I didn't break the rules about not posting methods of suicide but I meant it as a way Not to commit suicide. I probably misinterpreted your remark too. No offence intended.

> I'm still a firm believer in the "cry for help." I know four people who attempted suicide and two additional folks who succeeded. The two who succeeded didn't tell a soul. The others are alive today--and happy about it--thanks to intervention from the friends they warned. (The teenager next door didn't warn anyone, but she turned her stereo on at top volume so her mom could hear it. Of course, she also attempted suicide with a bottle of Tylenol.)
