I am the floater queen. I've almost had panic attacks from them--just the idea that I'm going to see them for the rest of my life. But they are worse in different lights. I think my doctor said it helps to keep the eyes moisturized by using artificial tears (use products with no preservatives). I'm going to see him next week (with new floaters since the last visit) and ask again. In Chinese medicine floaters are considered to be a manifestation of a Liver meridian imbalance. Not an actual liver organ problem, but the liver meridian. Depression and emotions are also largely governed by the Liver meridian, and medications can affect it. Sorry if I got too obtuse.
