> In 1990 I developed terrible problems with swallowing, throwing up and dry-retching. There was nothing wrong with me physically. In 1992 I was put on Nardil. After 6 weeks the drug 'kicked-in' and all my symptoms disappeared. Nardil was a real lifesaver.

> Despite the warning about dietary restrictions I find that I have no problems whatsoever. However, I do suffer from two serious side-effects. The first has ben weight gain. The second is insomnia. For this I take 2x1mg Lortemazepam and 10mg Neulactil (a pericyazine)one hour before I go to bed. My sleep is great. However, the Lortemazepam on its own wil only knock me out for about an hour. For extended deep REM sleep the Neulactil is absolutely vital.

> PS1 I lived in Australia for 9 years and am considering returning. Does anyone have any details about the curent situation with Nardil availability? It was taken off the market, but I've heard talk that it will soon be re-available.Yes I do! I am the Nardil main man in Australia. Nardil is still definately available, but NOT on the PBS. This means it costs more . You have to go to a docter, tell 'em your NOT willing to change from Nardil, and get them to wright a letter to The Special Access Scheme for approval. You'll get approved.
You will get your Nardil through Link medical products. They are very good people to me. If it's so ridicuously pricy get then to send it to your doc! I personally only pay $8 Australia (which equals $16 US) for a box of 100.So, no need to worry. Nardil will be there for you.
> PP2 My psychiatrist is currently suggesting that I go on Lithium in addition to the Nardil. Does anyone have any experience of this?
I have just started this combo. I'm confident but too early to say anything. Many super reports on this.Ace,
