Just a little note on something I have picked up:
Provigil is a pro-glutamic med, and I am deeply suspicious of glutamic acid/glutamine. For one, the chemical is implicated in both strokes (during a stroke, loads of glutamic acid is/are released into the brain) and seizures. (No, I am not saying it, nor Provigil DO cause these things, "always".) Also, many mood stabilizers are anti-glutamic acid/glutamine. So, that leaves some deep questions about neurological effects.
What about the amphetamines and even Ritalin and it's off-shoots? What is your diagnosis, and what are your symptoms? Don't go packin' yet (even though I am envious of Dutch drug laws :-)
