Hi Mike. I was on Seroquel 25-50 mg at bedtime for over one year. I was on Paxil CR for part of that year but mostly just on the Seroquel alone.

My diagnoses are depression, anxiety, PTSD and dissociative disorder, nos. I am not psychotic and have never heard voices. My own thoughts start racing ahead in a clutter at times, but they are my thoughts. :)

With that said, Seroquel helped my anxiety and depression wonderfully, but at a very low dose. Whenever the dose was increased at night to more than 50mg I couldn't function and felt like a zombie. For others though, higher doses are just fine.

While help with sleep was why I took Seroquel to begin with ( at least that is what my pdoc told me, hey, wait a minute...),it did end up helping my anxiety and depression as well. Don't be afraid to try it. Good luck.
