>>> I have been on it for several months now, and I really like it. I don't have any side effects that would make me want to go off it
******Same here. Only med I take except allergy and thyroid stuff.******
>>> I think -- and this is just my personal opinion -- that the apathy people have been complaining about might also be a lack of anxiety -- I have discussed this with my therapist, though no one knows that answer to that problem. There are things I am apathetic about these days that I used to do all the time, but I'm thinking that maybe those are things I may have been compulsive about and without that compulsion I am less interested in them? It's just a theory of mine. Anyhow, I haven't been happier about an SSRI as I have been about Lexapro, but everyone is different....
>******Wow, what an idea . . . I hadn't thought of it that way, but I suspect it's true. Will have to ponder that for awhile (apathy and compulsion.) Not for everyone, perhaps, but maybe for those "driven" by a sense of (unrealistic, unfounded) guilt and responsibility . . . which I've had that I remember, since I was a toddler, so I suppose I've had it my whole life . . .
Thanks, ayuda, for giving me something to think about, as usual . . . . Glad to hear you're doing well.
