Do Mood Stabilizers make you Tranquilized

Posted by TommyTommy on February 23, 2003, at 0:51:36

I have been taking 1500mg of Depakote for about 6 weeks now and I have no physical sensations of emotion. When I know I should be mad I'm just not mad as in I don't feel the physical sensations of being mad. I've felt like this before and I think that mood stabilizers must be the culprit. I am also taking 10mg of Lexapro a day and maybe that indeed could be what is causing this. Anyhow, it is not good and it is definitely not a natural feeling. I always feel the same physical sensations no matter how angry or happy I am and it is making me mad mentally but not physically of coarse. If anybody can comment on this I would appreciate it. I took Effexor before and was able to experience more physical sensations than on the Lexapro.

Thanks,

Tommy
