Hypertension is considered to be a 'silent' disease as there's no noticable symptoms unless your blood pressure is extremely high. If you had a mild hypretensive episode, you probaby wouldn't notice anything. Perhaps you could buy a blood pressure cuff & monitor to check yourself from time to time. They're relatively inexpensive & easy to use.
