I would like to know that too, because I have experienced much the same thing. In fact, I was recently fired and for the 6 weeks before I was fired, I had been taking effexor and found myself to have an even worse memory than usual, in addition to sedation, lethargy and mental confusion. I love what it does for my anxiety, but it almost works too well...anxiety helps to inhibit behavior and I find that I just really don't feel much of any anxiety...even when appropriate. Am thinking about asking pdoc to augment with either Provigil or Adderall. Anybody have any experience with what I have described?
