clinical trials anyone?

Hi,
Has anyone participated in a clinical trial?
I am debating. I made the appointment for next week. Can't make up my mind if I should go or cancel. My PD has already said she can't do any more for me since the AD I am taking is not working.I would be making a change anyway. I feel as if, what do I have to lose. Both drugs in the trial are already FDA approved, just not in combination.Has anyone else had experience with clinical trials? I would appreciate your comments.
