ANY SUGGESTIONS OR ADVISE ON WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN I STOP MY MEDS. IWILL NOT PAY ANYMORE MONEY FOR ANY OF THIS

My heart goes out to you - I have gone off wellbutrin very suddenly and learned what a goddawful mistake THAT was. When i went off lexapro i knew a little more what to expect. You might CRASH. Big time. Just keep telling yourself that it is a chemical reaction. It goes away. Really. Ask your husband to help with very specific tasks: maybe holding you 15 minutes every evening in bed and telling you that it WILL get better. Whatever the reason for being prescribed the drugs might still be there - but getting over the withdrawl WILL get better. And keep posting. If it helps to complain to us then do so. Why the hell not. I got off the wellbutrin once and then went back on it and i'm planning to get off it again as soon as i get the courage to go through that again but i now know not to drop all of it all at once. Taper down GRADUALLY. Decide which drug to go off first and then do it SLOWLY. Then again slowly off the next one. Is there a new doc you can get through the insurance just to see you off the drugs? That might help. That's what i'm planning to do (I also just got different insurance - ugh) please let me know how it's going. and be really really nice to yourself through this. nicer than you have ever been to yourself. write yourself love letters and mail them if it'll help. go for walks. Read the newspaper. eavesdrop on other people's converstaions at public places, whatever will give you opportunities to get outside of your pain. good luck! Hang in there.
