points: wellbuterin is often indicated for ppl with bi-polar one or two dis b/c it "appears" there is less of a likelyhood to kindle a manic episode
many of the aytypical anti pshcys ure now being proven effective for b/p's during acute manic episodes and also are an ajunct to "daily treatment".
Interesitng...I have BP dis order (if not on proper meds a have a tend to be depressed), panic dis or GAD . buspar was not used for GAD, as benzos and ssris were, but to help ignite my ssri.
risperdal seemd to be a great treament ajunct but may also be used just to induse sleep, same as zyprexa or seriquil but of the "new" aytipical anti psychs. but ztyprexa and seriquil have a less likelyhood of causing EPS syndrome or movements. all three though help to, just like lithiun then and now be used as coexistig treatment of more so lately mainstay treatment.
i am amazed at times, the way i feel i understand psychophamacollogy when the doc see my point and indicates he is using the undesireable side efffect of one med to maximize the effective ness of another.....perhaps they just do it for all the cool pens and coffee mugs they getlol
