Yes, suppression of REM sleep has been correlated to mood improvement. For nardil in particular, I have read case reports in the literature where patients had relief from their depression a couple of days after complete REM suppression. But I would not use this as your guide to finding the optimal dose of nardil. To find the most effective dose for you, you must slowly taper the medication up and track your moods closely. This is truly only way to find the best dose, by carefully tracking your moods. I found that at 45mg I was depressed, 52.5mg depressed, 60mg felt good, 75mg felt depressed again.
