Nardil and REM sleep

Posted by ace on January 5, 2003, at 5:59:30

After being on Nardil for around 3 and 3 quater weeks I experienced a complete supression of REM sleep (as manifested by experiencing no dreams, and waking up suddenly in middle night and early morning) Now, just short of 5 wweks on this wonderful medicine I experienced a dream last night. Preety sure it was not in any Stage of slee. Dr. Bob and others have stated that with a complete lack of dreams (the full supression of REM sleep) this indicates one is on the right dose. I'm already experiencing thereaputic benifits, but I want to up the dose to 90mg. The fact that I had a dream, this would make it even more plausible? With a higher dose there is more suppression of REM sleep?
Thanks.
