Dear Chronic,
How much do you take? Maybe you could add more.
I ask because I have been wondering the same thing about Wellbutrin... I am on 200 mg in the morning, 100 mid-day, and another 100 in the evening. I was a True Believer when I first went on it (about 18 months ago), not least of all because I dropped the 30 lbs I had gained on Zoloft. But it was working better then as an anti-depressant. I'm thinking that 400 mg per day should chase away whatever ails me, but I am still depressed about half the time, on average... Wonder if it poops out like the SSRIs?
Anyway, feel better,
Wendy
> I also have been struggling with trying to objectively discern if Wellbutrin is helping me or not- I was previously using Serzone but it made me way too sleepy - I was thrilled at the lack of side effects when I switched to Wellbutrin...but now I find it really hard to say whether or not its helping me- it has been several months now and, I might add, the price alone is enough to make me depressed - I have heard some people say it's the greatest thing they ever did - unfortunately I don't think I can count myself among them - I believe I will probably ask my Doctor to switch me to something else next week - once again it's "back to the drawing board" which is admitedly a bit disheartening once again-I'll be watching for posts to see what others have to say-..just found this site this evening here at work on a slower than usual night so I thought I'd join up! I look forward to being a part of the cyber-gang see y'all 'round - ChronicNeurotic
