Hey, 150mg of Effexor is still a pretty high dose. How long have you been on it? It took me about a month to work up to 75mg a day and I'm around the 200lb range. Tremors and weird dreams are all part of your start-up side effects on this medication, as well as massive mood swings BUT you should monitor these very closely with your Doctor. God, the first few weeks I was on Effexor I was either ready to fight and argue with everybody over anything or I was close to tears. That was while I was on just 75mg every 36 hours.

But then again, my last DX was that I'm suffering from Bi-Polar 1 with Mixed States.

While I was on Effexor though, I did manage to keep my moods fairly stable if I timed my doses just right. The slightest change in dose or even missing it by an hour would set me right off again. So I really do think that for people who are suffering from JUST anxiety or depression could really be helped by this drug if they work their way up on it and stick to it.
