Your doctor might have been misinformed when he stopped your Serzone due to liver worries. I thought that the guest doctor we had a few months a go on this site said that if Serzone is going to cause liver problems, a lab test will be positive shortly after starting on it.
Therefore, it is OK to start on Serzone. You then take a lab test a few months later. If your lab test shows no problem, you can keep taking it with no worries about liver problems.
Anyway, do some research and check it out. Maybe I misunderstood the doc.
