Remeron has literally given me my life back after this last bout of depression which lasted 2 yrs. It works great for my depression but I will admit, it does little for anxiety, I am taking clonazepam for that. I have had very few side affects in the 10 1/2 mos I've been on it. I have been on Sinequan, Anafranil, Prozac, Paxil and Effexor XR, Amitiptyline (sp)in the past 14 yrs. The two best meds for me were the Paxil and the Remeron. The paxil was discontinued due to visual problems. Hope this helps.
