Dinah, I had a tubal about 9 1/2 years ago. I don't know if it has anything to do with my moods being stronger (I'm bi-polar and have higher highs and darker depressions than I used to, but I've always attributed this to growing older. I'm 43). It HAS perhaps given me heavier menstrual flows, which lends to more painful cramps (and in turn, makes me more crabby). I have a *normal* friend who, after her tubal, also began to have extremely bad monthly cramping and much more bleeding. It'll be interesting to see if other women (esp. non bi-polars) have experienced negative effects from having their tubes tied.
