I am currently taking Celexa 10mg which
is for the core depressed mood. By itself
the Celexa can make me feel wired often,
and euphoric at times. This is all good,
but it also causes insommnia. When I add
the remeron, it seems to block the high
that I get (which greatly imrpoves the insommna). It also resores sexual function to a tolerable degree. Remeron is not a reputake inhibitor
it stimulates the release of seritonin somehow
I found that, by itself, Remeron is not a very
effective AD (although some swear by it).
Even at 7.5 mg Remeron will greatly improve
an SSRI's insommnia
