almost 5 weeks on Remeron and still nothing

I have heard that Remeron sometimes acts quicker than other SSRIs.. some people have said that it takes 4 weeks. I have had it.. I have felt pretty much no change since starting Remeron and I am getting quite hopeless. Should I quit.. switch.. complain? Could I be immune? This is very frustrating and scary. Paxil worked and then wore off... any suggestions, thoughts?
