Truthfully there are herbs available for
depression.Your options are.
St. Johns Wort
--------------
Will only work for mild to moderate depression.
Helped me for a month and then left me hanging.
My advice don't try it.SAMe
----
The most promising supplement for the treatment
of depression. Unfortunately also the most
espensive (up to 16 dollars a day ) (no health
insurance on herbs)Omega 3
-------
May reduce the suicidal tendancies of
and negative symptoms of Mania, Depression,
and Schitsophrenia.
My advice
---------
1) Perscription antidepressants are the most
tested and proven forms of treating
depression.2) You need to rate yourself and find how this
is affecting your life.3) Paxil is one of (if not) the worst
antidepressants for withdrawl.4) Your brain is not dammaged, but here is the
problem. You need to stop medication for
the right reason. Some families are very
anti-medication - especially when it comes
to mental disorders. My family is very
religious and everything is a demonic attack.5) Herbs are very unpredictable. There acive
ingrediants vary from pill to pill.6) Some people experience Dysthemia
a chronic lifelong form of depression.
I am one of them. I have not felt
better since I have been properly medicated.7) There are new drugs coming out each year
for these problems.8) The reason you feel so shitty is not because
of paxil, but rather because, your brain
wasn't ready to stop medication. MRI's show
that the brains of people who recover from
depression, make radical new developments.
If after you stop the medication, your
neurotransmitters are still too low, you will
not be able to use those new developpments
that your brain has made. This is why you
feel worse is BECAUSE your brain now knows
what normal really is.
I wish you the best of luckLinkadge
