Heat wave, smelly pills

Posted by utopizen on August 17, 2002, at 12:03:18

I'm sitting here smelling a familiar smell, one that indicates I've not treated my cyndrical amber friend very well and as a result my friend is sick.

I'm in a heat wave right now, and my Wellbutrin has that disgusting smell some pills get after you expose them to too much heat (i.e., be in a heat wave).

So while I'm toughing it out in my non-A/C'ed dorm room in one of the worst heat waves of the century without complaints, Mr. Wellbutrin is begging me for a fresh spray of Lysol.

Wellbutrin is suppose to be stored at room tempature, but my room isn't room tempature. What am I suppose to do about it, besides curiously sniffing this putrid odor for the next 2 months until I get a new prescription?

There's no way to store something at room tempature if you don't have A/C in a heat wave, so I'm suppose to just hope these things don't make me sick even though the smell is an obvious outgrowth of something turning.
