Okay - once again I've been lax in my Psycho-Babble reading. Here's my take on some of the above:
hot dogs - they're fine if they aren't smoked. There isn't anything inherently disallowable about them, just make sure they aren't smoked or aged.
Sardines - I'd be very, very careful. Often the canned sardines, clams, oysters, etc. are smoked. I had my first hypertensive crisis from some smoked clams in stew.
Vodka & Parnate - while I'm not much of a drinker, I have to admit I did get pretty soused on vodka one night with no ill effect. The same with rum (not on the same night). I'm not too concerned with the interaction with the clear alcohols. I even had about 6 shots of Bourbon with no effect too. I'd be more careful with the aged boozes like Bourbon and Scotch though.
Now - having said that about alcohol, I also agree with the others that it is a depressant and not very good for any of us. I very occasionally indulge.
