Elivel finally pooped out. So did Prozac, Zoloft, etc. etc. The only thing left was Effexor. Fortunately, it worked. It has worked for 3 years now. I really don't plan to go off of it. Plus, going off and on ADs makes one resistent. It is just better to stay on them if you have a chronic type depression like I have. I figure it is like taking High Blood pressure medication. You have to live with it.
