Zoloft and low motivation

Posted by Bookgurl99 on May 27, 2002, at 20:23:24

Help! I just started on Zoloft 3 weeks ago (25 mgs first week, 50 mgs next 2 weeks) for severe anxiety.

My girlfriend says that I am not myself -- and I'd have to agree. She's pointed out that I have very low motivation and am not as talkative/caring or opinionated.

It's true -- I realized I'm just sleepwalking through my days.

I've had so much trouble/trauma from getting off of Serzone -- a severe withdrawal reaction -- that I'm terrified of going through it again. But I don't think I can keep living this way.

Does anyone have any words of advice/wisdom when you're switching from one SSRI to another?
Any advice RE: Zoloft? or good ad's that don't kill motivation?
