Zo made a good point which i wanted to add to. I know all about what you are describing because a large part of what i am healing from is related to strong dissociating. And dissociating causes dizziness and visual disturbances among many other sensations.
So, really the question to ask is if you are talking about feelings/symptoms of dizziness, or also dissociation (ie: are you forgetting things, losing stuff, not recalling what you said or where you are or a feeling or memory about an event....)
I don't have GAD or primary depression. One of my primary dx is PTSD. And what "works" for me is acquired skills of telling myself where i am in the moment in the present and such. If I can prevent myself from dissociating strongly, then I will not be dizzy. But often it is unavoidable and just part of the process. If I'm feeling dizzy because of rising panic, then I take a xanax to calm down.
Just some thoughts.
