Hi Kari,
Dont know that much about it with your diagnosis as I am bipolar and I just started taking Celexa with Risperdal. The pdoc said that Risperdal (Ris) is an antipsychotic that is used now in a smaller dose than was first used. I have never taken one before now and so far so good. My post right before yours is asking more or less the same questions. Just trying to find out if there are any side effects. I kinda dont want to know ahead of time as when I do know what the side effects are then I usually get them. If it said that 1 in 1,000,000 will die from taking a small dose then I will feel as if I am that one in a million. Tonight, I have a dry (hacking) cough that started with a sore throat. I called the pharmacist to see if that was anything I should be concerned about but he was not helpful. Said to call my doc on Monday if still sick. Probably just a cold but??? on the literature with the Celexa it said to beware of sore throat with fever, or was that with the Ris??? not sure soooo. hopefully I am just sick... Will let everyone know, I am sure that all are worried about me... Anyway back to the mood stabilizer, Ris, aka anti-psychotic, hopefully this will be the ONE that works (at least for awhile.sorry about all the ramblin...
