Hi there,I've been taking "real" Adderall for the past 5 months and for some reason this month my neuro didn't mark my scrip "brand name medically necessary" as he did in the prior month (he knew generic was available but preferred not to try it).
Anyway, I didn't notice until I filled my scrip and got the generic (Barr Labs) and was partly glad because my co-pay was $30 cheaper than normal, but thought it was going to be less efficacious. I took 20 mgs. this a.m. and 10 this afternoon and so far . . . nothing different to note. The pills are also blue and scored but more oval in shape. Who knows, hopefully it'll be just as effective. I know I responded better to real Klonopin v. the generic. I guess it all depends on the manufacturer. I think it's still expensive for being a generic. Adderall ain't cheap!
Hope that helps!Katalina
