Adderall is 1/4 Dextroamphetamine Saccharate;
1/4 Amphetamine Aspartate;
1/4 Dextroamphetamine Sulfate (Dexedrine);
1/4 Amphetamine sulfate (d,l racemic amphetamine= Benzedrine);So a 20 mg pill has 5 mg each of these four different mixed salts of amphetamine.
30 of the generic "D-Amphetamine Combo" pills are $40 while 30 of Adderall (in any dose except XR) are $54.

Personally, I wouldn't take a chance until I saw some evidence that it is- generic products only have to be 80% as effective to be considered equivalent by the FDA. If you look at the charts of Ritalin versus its generic "methylphenidate" or "methylin", the generic & "methylin" peak faster and a bit higher but wears off a half an hour before Ritalin does. Since Ritalin only lasts about 3.5 hours a half an hour is pretty significant!
