trouble,

Whelp, having the lovely 'double depression' diagnosis myself (both biological and environmental contributions)...I can say that you need both medication and therapy.

I have found that if I'm not feeling stable enough, through medication, that I can't really do any work on 'the stuff'. It's too hard if I'm in a bad place. Also, having tried to work anyway when I was in a bad place, I questioned any resolutions I had come to. I have decided some pretty horrible things about myself when depressed. I have had to sort of put things on hold until I was more stable on meds.

In talking with my pdoc (I think that means psychiatrist...new here) we always take the long view when considering med changes. Unless of course there is a serious crisis.

Good Luck,
