Geno:Is it possible to try one of the new atypical antipsychotics? I know they scare a lot of people, but these things really seem to be a 'powerhouse' when added to an already good med combo. It also doesn't mean you have to take them forever. You can get very, very low doses of these things, and it was my family doc, not psychiatrist, who suggested it. I have seen some great success with both Risperdal and Zyprexa.
A couple of other thoughts. With say a good low dose, and long lasting ap like Zyprexa, you could maybe greatly lower your dose of Remeron. Along with that, I would also say spread out the klonipin, and take it in am and pm. I also think a slightly higher dose of klonipin prn may be helpful.
What do you think? I would say the low dose Zyprexa may help even out your dopamine system that may have been disrupted by either heavy GHB and Ephedra use.
I'd be a bit cautious with the Dexedrine use, but that is going to have to be for you to decide.(Have you tried Welbutrin? It has many stimulant-like properties, without the 'crash' or 'poop-out' of stims.) The only problem I would have with Dexedrine is it's anxiety-increasing potential. In other words...go low and slow.
P.S. I might also suggest, if you can, get a second prescription for Xanax a few times a day until you feel stable, then you can maybe phase out or lower it. The *important* part is to get stability.
Best wishes..
