There is a drug in development which is called "Anti-Cort" and its being developed for Cushings as well as AIDS. But I read that if it is ever FDA approved the company will begin researching the drug to be used in some depressive disorders. There used to be a website for Anti-Cort, I dont know if there still is.
Dont count on it though...its a wild card...shot in the dark. But interesting trivia to know if you are in this boat of having severe depression.
