Just thought I'd toss into the mix, re tics, I started cuticle-chewing with a vengeance, with Lamictal, a very calming drug for me. . .and then stopped when I added Provigil! Go know. Pdoc says, however, nail picking is now thought to be an impulse behavior, not a tic behavior as previously thought.

Provigil is interesting in that while people call it a stimulant, it is not. It is a wakefulness agent, first and foremost, and works through whole different, complicated pathwasy than stimulants and ADs.
