Eric: I'm sorry you are in the hospital. A lot of time when I think something has permanently damaged something, the side effect goes away after time (like my Nardil side effect are not completely gone, but mostly gone now and it's been 4 months I think since I quit Nardil). The other hard piece of this illness is that it progresses also and so it is hard to determine (at least for me) what's what. I hope things calm down for you and that you are out of the hospital soon.
