In reply to CALMAX and B-COMPLEX for anxiety, insomnia, posted by beardedlady on March 1, 2002, at 12:21:23
I have tried every supplement on the market.Cal Max may help (didn't help me), but a good
diet should cover that base.B-complex vitamins are good to take in general.
2 things have made a noticeable difference:
- 2 Tablespoons/Day cold-pressed Flax-Seed Oil
very relaxing. Takes 2-3 weeks to notice full
effects. I buy the Spectrum brand.- This voodoo sleep aid called:
"Hyland's Homeopathic Insomnia,
Natural Relief from Insomnia and Restlessness".
Strong Stuff. Contains some strange herbs/flowers
with hypnotizing powers. Best sleep aid I ever took.
Throw out your valerian root, 5-htp, benadryl.
God knows what this stuff does to the brain and
liver.-John
