Klonopin Brand\Generic

Posted by Rakken on March 1, 2002, at 16:22:33

When my pdoc writes the prescription for Klonopin I expect to get the Klonopin brand from the pharmacy. But the past two times I've gotten the script I get Clonazepam (Teva). How do I get the Klonopin "Brand" by Roche I believe? Do I have to talk to my pdoc or do I talk to the pharmacy and specify that I want the Klonopin Brand form? I say this because I hear the generic form is 1/2 as potent. And my pdoc writes the prescription for "Klonopin" not "Clonazepam".
