Can you describe the strange thoughts, and any other symptoms, that you have during these episodes? Agitation doesn't necessarily mean that you are manic or hypomanic.

Manic/hypomanic states in which a person feels irritable, agitated, suicidal, etc. rather than euphoric are sometimes called "mixed" or "dysphoric."
