paxil added to remeron

hello, i went to my pdoc today and told him remeron is not making me happy go lucky or social. he added 10mg of paxil at night to start. anyone have experience with this. I also have a hard time sleeping and anxiety, and take .5mg of xanax in the morning, and .5mg in the evening.
