Do you know how high your blood pressure got when you took the adrafinil?I think it went up to 165, but normal for me is about 100. So it wasn't dangerous, just a bit scary. I think it's just odd that I took nardil for so many years and I think it was the only hypertensive reaction I ever had had (or maybe the second).

That's very possible, I really don't know why she recommended against it, actually she told me absolutely not to take it. And she's pretty brazen about combinations; she put nardil and serzone together years ago, when most doctors wouldn't. If I see her again, I'll ask her, but I think I'll be starting with a new pdoc next month.
btw, did you have any reaction to my post below re addiction? And I received temgesic brand bupe in the mail today (less than a week after ordering it via internet). I tried it this evening and I've certainly had no bad reaction to it and it might be working. I am experiencing no depression or chest pain now. It's hard for me to tell yet whether my depression lifted from the bupe or because I had a really good phone chat tonight with a pdoc recommended to me from someone at NIMH; he sounded both very knowledgable and very open and I finally think I've found myself a pdoc.
