Thank you Old School,
I do not mean to scare anyone unnecessarily
against clonazepam, or withdrawal, on the contrary
I am pointing out how raising and reinstating the
dose saved me. Surely, you must have seen the
American Family Physician, the Merck and so many
other medical texts talk about the risk of seizure
or stroke in withdrawals. Also, there are about 100 different types of
seizure and stroke (mine may have been an
TIA - that is a transient ischemic attack)
which is not as serious. All you have to do is take a look at the NET
to see how many kinds of stroke there are which
are not necessarily paralyzing or fatal:e.g.
http://www.merck.com/pubs/mmanual_home/sec6/74.htmthank you for your concern, and again i do not
wish to scare anyone but rather to show how staying
on the benzos or reinstating can reverse these
incidents, whatever type of cerebral event they
are;Squiggles
